Well we have made it back from the South in one piece and are glad to have about six more months to prepare to go back. Well what happened? Here is what we recollect from the weekend.

Dave, tommEE, Anavice and Rabbit all spent the night at the same house on that Thursday because we had to get to the airport by 6:00 AM. Waking up just hours after laying down, we got ready and got to the airport. I do have to say that several of us hate flying but the others can't stand driving that long either. We were assigned our seats but I made the airline change it because she had us sitting in row 13. When I addressed the attendant about this we learned on the 115 passenger plane, that there were only 20 passengers, so we could sit where ever we want. The only problem now is that I couldn't drink due to the fact that I had to drive.

We land in Nashville and picking up the car and luggage was a snap. We got a Hertz rental car with the GPS in it. It rocks! We drove to the hotel and talked with JonnyX in the lobby. He gave us a tour of the hotel and we checked in. We had a lot of the gear shipped directly to the hotel but it took us a while to get it to the room. Anavic, Dave and Rabbit started setting up the mixers and turntables along with the lighting. tommEE set up the Moloch jungle juice cooler and the networking equipment. Friday as the se2600 goons were setting up all the cat5 cable, Rabbit and tommEE set out for the liquor and beer for the night.

Friday evening, I saw Emmanuel walking around and getting prepared to show Freedom Downtime. I went up to our room and gathered the rest of the Moloch gang to watch the movie. There was a good reaction to the movie but it does still run long at 2 hours 30 minutes. Well worth watching if you haven't yet. After the movie, Moloch members all gathered in our suite to begin our party. It starts to get a little hazy about this time. I remember certain people being there like Rattle, JonnyX, GrrlBott, maverick, the twins and so many other people. We tried waking up Angus and hung out with the HackSec guys.. The night just goes on from there. I don't remember much.

Saturday afternoon around three o'clock tommEE woke up with Elyn jumping on his bed. We were happy to see that Elyn and Izaac made the drive down to Nashville. Izaac was at the SETI lecture and the Moloch people were hungry so we went to eat. On the way back we stopped off for liquor and other party goods and got back to the room. We went down to the Con rooms and heard Decius speak. tommEE was supposed to speak right after Decius. About 9:00pm we finished up in the Con rooms and we headed along with others to our room and slowly started to kick up the party. HugMe came on up with his popcorn machine and a 30 pound bucket of popcorn. We partied well thoughout the night and I remember the word that maverick and Woofus enjoyed was "Whore". Several HackSec people hung out, several people passed out and someone almost got a dick on his face. We were getting a little silly late in the evening when tommEE had this idea about a popcorn attack. So we started popping about 15 pounds of popcorn. It took hours but the whole time we were laughing like crazy. We decided the best person for this attack would be JonnyX. Everyone started wondering on how we were going to get into JonnyX's room. Dave went to the hotel lobby and said that he was Jonny's friend who was in the same room and he lost the key. The desk was more than happy to hand it over.

So the scene was set, a room key to the victim's room and 15 pounds of popcorn on a sheet. Well one problem fell on us, the hotel staff started wandering the halls of the hotel. They remarked on how messy the halls and rooms were, This maintenence man named Ernie turned out to be the only asshole I found in all of Nashville. tommEE shared some words with him and his manager told him to go work elsewhere on the grounds and the manager told JonnyX that she didn't want to see me at the check out counter. heh. Anyway, Dave told Jonny about the prank and handed him back the room key. He said that he would bring it up at check out that the hotel security was not up to standard.

We still had 15 pounds of popcorn and nothing to do with it. We had twisted and Woofus downstairs with others standing below our window. We dumped the popcorn down on them while maverick took pictures. It still was fun.

We woke up Monday with the hugest mess and had to clean most of it up. We said our goodbyes to most everyone and packed up our stuff. We had a little trouble shipping the stuff out but it all went. Dave checked out of the rooms and we headed out downtown to see the sights. We flew out later in the evening and ended back in New York around midnight.

Moloch had a great time in Nashville at Phreaknic and would like to thank everyone who we met and helped out with the con. If I miss anyone, it is not intentional. Thank You to JonnyX, Rattle, Twisted, Decius, Grrlb0t, Angus, HackSec, Rockitt, maverick, Woofus, the twins, whore, laughing boy, and all the groupies of Moloch.
